This is my new blog which i wanted to create so that I can post pictures of all of the craft projects that i make throughout the year. I do crochet, knitting, cardmaking, quilting, and others. I am on various groups on facebook and mito wish upon a star has been set up to raise money for children with mitochondrial disease, a type of muscular dystrophy. I am currently making various projects to sell to friends/family and to others with mitochondrial disease and all of the profits raise will go to this group. So this site is a way to show people what i have made in the past and what i am currently making and then i am happy to take requests for projects to support mito wish upon a star. My doctors believe that it is highly probable that i have mitochondrial disease too. It can have child or adult onset and there is no cure.

The first picture is of a teddy i made for two friends birthdays (but they dont know this yet!) I have a whole book of these teddies with all sorts of different additions from a piano accordian to viola, butterflies, clothing of various kinds. they are all so cute.

The second picture is of amineko it means crocheted cat in Japanese. This picture was taken for a competition from a craft shop to win a voucher for that shop you had to make the amineko (and the book came from this shop with the pattern in it) and then you had to have amineko doing something. Since i play the viola i took a picture of him with a viola and then i also got my toy piano and took another photo with him playing the piano too. I didn't win the competition but the photos are cute and amineko is a cute kitty. I will update more things ive made later on and eventually i hope this site will lead to people outside the mito community viewing my craft projects and hopefully bringing some orders to raise money for mito wish upon a star.
